Mindfulness

Let's appreciate the beauty in all the layers of the present moment, whether it is feeling the energetic magic in an ordinary moment or being disturbingly aware of achy, painful sensations or feelings. How do we consciously stay present for it all?

 

By taking the time and the attention to acknowledge the present moment, we are taking the first steps to appreciate the sacredness of daily life. Be aware of the sound of crunching leaves as a melodic cadence accompanies your every step down a path. Or watch the evening soup roll to a boil with hints of orange, white, and green vegetables gracing our sight before quickly diving back down to the bottom of the pot. Life's vibrance and magic doesn't announce itself. But, instead, it waits quietly for us to pay attention.
